Our Story

As fate would have it, we met over 12 years ago, when our paths crossed in high school. We were nothing more than just school mates who happen to share the same church. It wasn't until we both went to varsity that we started hanging out proper. We got to know each other and found ourselves vibing, the chemistry was undeniable. Eventually we fell in love with each other and officially started dating in 2010. And as they say , the rest is history.

The Proposal

<

From the moment I knew he was taking me to Thailand, I knew he was going to propose, just didn't know how or when. I always imagined he would propose by the beach or one of the islands, you know those proposal-ish moments. So each time we had a setting which was even slightly romantic, from the flights to romantic dinners to breathtaking sites, I thought he would propose. Days went by and with each day passing I would keep thinking this is the day. We hopped from one island to the other, each so beautiful and magical in its own way, but the ring never came.

All those moments I thought would be perfect all passed. Towards the end of our Thai holiday, we had made plans to go Elephant trekking, we got there to what looked like a Thai village, so we hopped onto the elephant with our tour guide, and then my fiancé(then boyfriend) was sitting on the elephant's head while the tour guide took pictures of us, and then next thing he attempted what looked like standing on top of the elephant's neck, and I was freaking out saying "baby what are you doing? , you're gonna fall", as he turned around to sit opposite direction while facing me. And then he managed to sit.

Then he took out a box from his pocket and I went crazy, like what!!!!! literally didn't see it coming. He asked me to marry him but I didn't say anything I was just going crazy excited wanting to kiss him and stuff, until he was like " uhm babe, I think this is the point where you supposed to say Yes "😂😂😂, and then I said Yes! I was so excited, and I am so happy that there was a person taking pictures of all it happening. The moment was well captured. And it couldn't have been more perfect! So Why Propose on an elephant baby?out of all places. " I wanted it to be original, I didn't want a cliché proposal.", he said. Ugh ! He made my whole entire life. It's still the best day of my life to date!
